The International Brangus Breeders Association (IBBA) is seeking applications for a Summer Internship - Breed Association Operations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Member Support: Assist with member inquiries via phone and email, including registrations, transfers, and general information requests.

  • Event Coordination: Support planning and logistics for key association events, including the National Junior Brangus Show and Brangus Days, from travel arrangements to on-site assistance.

  • Administrative Tasks: Perform general office duties such as data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records for members and events.

  • Communication Assistance: Help create, proof, and distribute member communications, newsletters, and promotional materials.

  • Cross-Departmental Exposure: Collaborate with multiple teams to gain hands-on experience across all aspects of association operations, including marketing, membership, events, and member-relations.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; professional phone and email etiquette.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

  • Willingness to partake in minimal event travel.

  • Must be located or willing to relocate to College Station, TX.


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Current enrollment in a college or university program, preferably in agriculture-related field.

  • Passion for agriculture, cattle industry experience is a plus but not required.
