A collaborative, exciting creative team seeks a Multimedia Intern who can strategize, write and produce engaging videos. The successful candidate will complete the internship with numerous published video samples and broad experience in the area of video production relevant to new professionals entering the field.
Employment as an intern is on a semester by semester basis. Continued employment is contingent upon funding and performance. This position is eligible for internship credit for strategic communications and public relations majors. Filing for credit is the responsibility of the student.

What You'll Do
Intern will develop concepts and scripts for Library videos and work with the Library’s multimedia unit to coordinate video production. Intern will support the video/photo based social media efforts by producing content, produce live streams, participate in multicamera production, research audiences and video trends. Intern will support the Library’s video-related accessibility efforts. Intern will play an important role in projecting the Library brand through multimedia and will perform other duties as assigned.
The Multimedia Intern will report to the Multimedia Producer and will work 10-15 hours per week during the spring semester. Hours will be scheduled during Monday-Friday between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Required Qualifications
A student who can demonstrate fundamentals of audio and video production.
Knowledge of DSLR cameras.
Knowledge of MS Word, Adobe Premiere (or similar editing software) and ability to work on PC.
Ability to maintain professional decorum in a team environment based on idea generation, creativity and collaboration.
Willingness to appear and/or speak on camera for Library videos.
Comfort contributing to messaging and development of marketing and public relations campaigns.
