Description
Eastern Oklahoma State College is a comprehensive community college providing instruction in a wide range of curricula.
Qualifications:
Associate degree in Graphic Design, Journalism & Broadcasting, Mass Communication or experience in related field required; bachelor's degree preferred.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience in video production and website management preferred.
Strong written communication skills required, including experience writing news releases using AP style and producing content for other marketing materials.
Photography experience a plus.
Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and in a team environment.
Ability to deal with a variety of tasks simultaneously and prioritize project deadlines.
Must be organized and detail oriented.
Responsibilities:
Plan and create videos supporting college recruiting efforts and promoting college successes.
Write news articles and content for advertising, marketing materials, and website.
Conceptualize and design projects for internal and external audiences in a variety of media, including printed marketing materials, website, and social media.
Serve as photographer for campus events and marketing materials as needed.
Create original content for the college’s social media accounts.
Assist with operation of full-service print shop, including operating digital printers and finishing equipment, such as cutters, creasers, folders, stitchers, bindery equipment, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
Salary: Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
