Tejas Rodeo Company | Bulverde, Texas Tejas Rodeo Company is seeking an experienced, highly driven Marketing & Brand Director to lead all marketing, advertising, and public relations across our growing family of brands:

  • Tejas Rodeo

  • Tejas Steakhouse & Saloon

  • Tejas Company Store

  • Western Sky Wedding & Event Venue


This is a senior, hands-on role for a marketing professional who knows how to build strategy, create content, analyze performance, and drive real revenue growth — particularly in increasing steakhouse traffic and event sales. We are looking for someone who can step in with minimal hand-holding, take full ownership, and push the Tejas brand forward.


Key Responsibilities


Brand Strategy & Marketing Leadership

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans for all Tejas brands

  • Build and maintain brand kits, messaging, and visual identity standards

  • Manage and update all websites and digital presence

  • Oversee ticketing system setup, event descriptions, confirmation emails, and automated customer communication

  • Build and manage annual and monthly marketing calendars


Digital Advertising & Analytics

  • Manage Google Ads, Meta Ads, Google Business, Google Maps, and social advertising

  • Implement and manage Google Analytics, tags, events, pixels, and retargeting

  • Track performance metrics, analyze data, and adjust campaigns to improve ROI

  • Grow email databases through website and ticketing integrations


Content Creation & Social Media

  • Create and schedule content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms

  • Capture photos and video at events, rodeos, concerts, and promotions

  • Produce engaging behind-the-scenes and contestant-focused rodeo content

  • Manage influencer partnerships and media collaborations

  • Plan and execute professional photoshoots


Restaurant & Event Promotion

  • Drive increased steakhouse traffic on Thursdays, Fridays, Sundays, and off-season periods

  • Work with food & beverage teams on chef specials, happy hours, and seasonal menus

  • Create and promote holiday and themed dining events (Valentine’s, Mother’s Day, etc.)

  • Conceptualize, plan, promote, and execute new events and experiences (example: Galentine’s, line dancing nights, themed dinners, patio events)


Sales & Corporate Event Support

  • Collaborate with sales team on corporate events, conventions, and private parties

  • Create promotional materials, rate cards, media kits, and information packets

  • Promote VIP experiences such as the Silver Spur Suite

  • Support outreach to businesses and organizations


Public Relations & Media

  • Coordinate media visits and interviews with ownership

  • Manage photographer access and negotiate image usage

  • Build relationships with community groups, schools, and local organizations


Operational Execution

  • Design flyers, signage, billboards, and printed collateral

  • Post and remove on-site promotional materials

  • Maintain organized project workflows and content calendars

  • Ensure brand consistency and error-free copy across all platforms


Qualifications

  • 5+ years professional marketing experience with proven results

  • Experience in hospitality, entertainment, or live events strongly preferred

  • Expertise in:

  • Google Ads, Meta Ads, Google Business

  • Google Analytics, tags, pixels, and retargeting

  • Email marketing platforms (Constant Contact or similar)

  • Social media content creation and scheduling

  • Strong photography and video content skills

  • Excellent writing and editing with near-zero spelling/grammar errors

  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and deadline-driven

  • Comfortable working some evenings and weekends for event coverage

  • Passion for Western culture and rodeo a major plus
