Position Overview
Sullivan Supply Inc. is seeking a talented, detail-driven Graphic Designer to join our in-house creative team in Dunlap, Iowa. This role is ideal for a designer who thrives on large-scale projects, brand consistency, and high-impact visual communication across print and digital platforms.
The Graphic Designer will play a key role in developing catalogs, guides, advertising campaigns, packaging, and tradeshow materials that support our brand presence across the livestock and agricultural industries.
This position requires strong Adobe InDesign expertise, the ability to manage complex multi-page documents, and a willingness to travel up to 50 days per year for events, trade shows, and on-site projects. Video experience is a plus, particularly for supporting marketing and promotional initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop large-scale guides, catalogs, and multi-page documents from concept through production
Design compelling digital and print advertising campaigns
Create flyers, posters, and tradeshow collateral for national events
Design product packaging, including labels, films, and cartons
Craft logos and comprehensive brand style guides
Assist with basic video content creation and editing (as needed)
Collaborate with internal teams, management, and external vendors to ensure brand consistency
Prepare production-ready files and coordinate with printers and suppliers
Support marketing initiatives with creative assets across multiple platforms
Required Skills & Qualifications
Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign (required)
Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite:
Photoshop
Illustrator
Acrobat
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Demonstrated experience designing catalogs, guides, and complex multi-page layouts
Strong understanding of print production processes
Willingness to travel up to 50 days per year
You will be asked to show a portfolio of past work
Additional Skills, Experience & Preferred Qualifications
Video experience is a plus (editing, motion graphics, or promotional content)
Proven ability to articulate innovative ideas and deliver creative solutions for complex projects
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
Strong communicator with a history of effective collaboration and independent work
Ability to establish productive working relationships with management and external vendors
Excellent critical thinking skills to evaluate creative approaches and problem-solve efficiently
