Position Overview
The FAPC Communications & Media Intern supports day-to-day communications efforts
through content creation, media support and digital storytelling. This role is ideal for an
undergraduate student seeking hands-on experience in agricultural communications, marketing, photography, video and brand storytelling within a research and Extension environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with photography and video capture at events, workshops and facilities
Organize and manage digital media assets
Assist with event promotion materials and on-site media support
Support social media content creation and scheduling
Help draft and format basic communications materials (captions, short features, web
updates)
Support other communications projects as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
Current undergraduate student in Agricultural Communications
Strong written communication skills
Interest in photography, video or digital media (experience a plus, not required)
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud
Organized, dependable, and willing to learn
