Job Title: Social Media Coordinator & Graphic Designer
Location: On-site in Gainesville, Texas, or hybrid work-from-home for the right candidate (must be within distance to comfortably commute to location several times/week. Hybrid will be very dependent on candidate.)

Job Overview:
Solo Select is seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Coordinator & Graphic Designer with a deep understanding of the western performance industry. This role is ideal for someone who is not only passionate about content creation and design but also a dynamic problem-solver who loves the Western industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily social media engagement and producing high-quality visual content that resonates with our audiences across stallion social media accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
Daily monitoring, posting, and engagement on platforms including Facebook, TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.
Develop and implement social media strategies that align with Solo Select’s goal of bringing The Very Best to the industry, building stallion followings and enhancing brand visibility within the horse industry.
Respond to comments, messages and inquiries in a timely and professional manner to liaison with breeding and sales offices.
Analyze social media metrics and provide reports to the team to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Content Creation:
Produce engaging visual content, including photography, graphic design and video that appeals to target audiences across Western disciplines.
Capture and edit photos and videos, both on-location at Solo Select and at events.
Collaborate with internal teams to create cohesive branding materials, including promotional graphics, banners and advertisements as well as website graphics.
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and tools to continuously improve content quality and engagement.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with internal to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms. This includes gathering regular QData and QStallion reports, working with breeding operations on key broodmare bookings and communication with competitors and stallion owners.
Assist in the planning and execution of social media campaigns and special projects, including stallion commercials.
Provide creative input on branding, advertising and promotional initiatives.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Social Media Coordinator, Graphic Designer, or similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing your work. The ideal candidate will submit links to work on various social platforms.
In-depth knowledge of social media platforms algorithms, including Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Strong photography and video editing skills.
Familiarity with the Western performance industry and comfort and common sense around horses.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work on-site in Whitesboro and Gainesville, Texas, with the option for hybrid work for the preferred candidate. Housing is available if needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in marketing or a related field.
Knowledge of social media analytics tools and platforms.
Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
