Ridley Block Operations (RBO), an Alltech company, is seeking a Marketing & Administrative Coordinator to support our growing marketing team. RBO manufactures and markets block supplements, loose minerals, and dried molasses for livestock, and is recognized as the industry leader in self-fed livestock supplements.


We are seeking a detail-oriented, marketing-minded individual who excels in administrative coordination, works well under deadlines, and brings solutions-focused thinking to help ensure marketing programs run smoothly.


Our preference is for candidates based in Lexington, Kentucky or the Mankato, Minnesota area. Remote work is possible for the right candidate. 


ROLE PURPOSE:

The Marketing & Administrative Coordinator will support RBO’s commercial marketing function by assisting in the daily execution of marketing programs, systems, and materials. This role will help manage marketing resources, coordinate customer and field needs, assist with promotional activities, and maintain key digital tools.


This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety, and wants to contribute to meaningful marketing efforts across trusted livestock brands.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the implementation of marketing activities and initiatives by coordinating tasks, organizing information, and ensuring the timely flow of materials and resources needed to execute programs effectively.

  • Facilitate the management and distribution of marketing materials, promotional items, and branded assets by coordinating and facilitating orders, maintaining inventory, and ensuring resources are available and accessible as needed.

  • Assist in coordinating marketing-related programs and ongoing activities by supporting documentation, progress tracking, basic reporting, and related administrative needs.

  • Provide general administrative support across departments by assisting with routine program administration and helping ensure smooth day-to-day business operations.


IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS:

  • A strong foundation in administrative work; experience in marketing or agriculture is preferred.

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, agriculture, animal science, communications, business, or a related discipline is preferred.

  • Familiarity with the agriculture or livestock industry is an asset (cattle experience helpful but not required).

  • Strong organizational and communication skills with excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects with competing deadlines

  • Customer-focused mindset with strong relationship-building skills

  • Self-starter with a willingness to learn and contribute across teams

  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and dependability

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Office 365; experience with Asana a plus


JOB ENVIRONMENT:

  • Full-time; based in office or hybrid depending on location and experience

  • Standard business hours: 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with occasional evening/weekend support for events

  • Some travel may be required
