Social Media Coordinator - Equine Network: Riata

Equine Network's Riata is seeking a creative, organized Social Media Coordinator to help bring the team roping and rope horse story to life across digital platforms. This role will create compelling content, support community engagement, and capture the action at events, championships, and activations, with some travel required.


What You'll Do

  • Create, schedule, and manage engaging social media content across platforms.

  • Write strong copy and develop graphics and short-form video that reflect the Riata brand.

  • Capture behind-the-scenes moments, event coverage, and on-site action to share the Riata experience in real time.

  • Monitor comments, messages, and engagement to help build and strengthen community.

  • Track social trends and performance metrics to support growth and reach.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity.

  • Travel occasionally for events, content capture, and live coverage.


What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing preferred.

  • Strong writing, organization, and communication skills.

  • Comfort working across multiple platforms and content tools such as Canva, Adobe Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar.

  • A strong eye for storytelling, visuals, and audience engagement.

  • Interest in the team roping, rope horse, or performance horse industry is highly preferred.
