Full-Time • Gainseville, TX

Description

Solo Select is hiring a Social Media & Content Specialist to support photo, video and written content needs across our brands. This is an on-site, full-time

position for someone who can recognize a story, capture it, edit it, write it and get it posted without needing to be chased. Strong writing skills are essential.

This role includes captions, short scripts, basic news stories and promotional copy.

Our organization reaches a large national audience, and we are looking for someone ready to work alongside our marketing team with the drive, judgment

and integrity that built this brand. You will help tell the stories behind Solo Select's horses, sales, stallions, events and businesses while keeping content

accurate, timely and on brand.

The right person must be comfortable working within AI tools, agents and structured AI workflows to organize and expedite their work, and must be

curious, adaptable and willing to learn new systems quickly.

The Perfect Fit

You are a hands-on content creator who sees Western performance horses as more than a subject. You know what makes a photo, video or caption connect, and you are comfortable filming in the arena, working around horses, staying late during sale week and jumping in

wherever the story requires. You take ownership, move quickly and do not wait to be reminded.

Key Responsibilities

  • Photo, Video & Social Content

  • Take conformation photos and create sale videos, along with original photo and video around the ranch, at shows and during daily operations.

  • Edit Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, sale-horse videos and other short-form promotional content.

  • Write captions and publish across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.

  • Track important horse, sale, stallion and event stories so timely opportunities are not missed.

  • Organize photo and video assignments and make sure finished assets get where they need to be on time.

  • Create graphics for sale pages and stallion pages as needed.

  • Support campaigns, special events and content planning while meeting tight deadlines.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong photography, video-editing and social-media skills, with examples of published work.

  • A sharp eye for visual storytelling and the judgment to know what is worth capturing.

  • Organized, dependable, detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal hand-holding.

  • Comfortable working quickly without sacrificing accuracy or quality.

  • Horse, rodeo or Western performance-horse experience is strongly preferred.

  • Graphic design is a supporting responsibility for sale and stallion pages, while the primary focus remains original content, storytelling, editing, publishing and social-media execution.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, with some early mornings or late nights depending on media and show schedules. Weekend on-call rotation as needed,

typically once per month.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive compensation based on experience and ability.

  • Benefits available for eligible full-time employees.

To apply, email your resume, relevant social-media handles and examples of your photography, video editing or published content to

mel@soloselect.com. Please do not apply without examples of your work.
