Social Media & Content Design Assistant - The Boutique Hub

Job Description: The Social Media & Content Design Assistant will support the marketing team by creating and managing engaging digital content across multiple platforms. This role combines social media management, content creation, PR support, and graphic design to help build brand awareness, engagement, and consistency across channels.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Content: Assist in curating and creating educational and relatable Reels, TikToks, and other video/photo content. Research trending sounds, formats, and ideas to keep content relevant.

  • Weekend Coverage: Post across all social accounts on weekends to maintain consistency and assist with on-call content management, including monitoring DMs and comments.

  • Event Coverage: Travel 3–4 times per year to capture photos and videos for social and promotional use at in-person events.

  • Hubventory Account Management: Manage Instagram and Facebook content, including posting, answering DMs, and engaging with followers.

  • LinkedIn & PR Support: Assist with posting content to LinkedIn, sharing press releases and news with partners, and identifying opportunities for The Boutique Hub to partner with relevant brands and outlets.

  • Graphic Design Support: Assist in creating branded graphics for social media, PDFs, print design, presentations, opt-ins, and website audits to ensure consistency across platforms.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and social trends.

  • Strong eye for design and basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar tools).

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Flexibility to travel occasionally and provide weekend coverage.


This position is part-time but possible full-time for the right candidate.
