Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic team. We are a media team providing photography, videography, and social media management to the performance horse industry.

As a key member of our marketing department, the successful candidate will be responsible for creating and sharing content across our pages. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media platforms and the ability to create engaging content that resonates with our target audience.

Duties

• Maintain posts and promotions for the stallion pages and trainer pages across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok

• Create and curate high-quality content that showcases our brand and resonates with our target audience

• Utilize photography skills to capture compelling visuals that drive engagement and increase brand awareness

• Design and create visually appealing graphics and advertisements using Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop

• Utilize SEO best practices to optimize our social media content for search engines

• Manage and monitor our social media analytics to track performance and identify areas for improvement

• Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends and best practices

• Utilize relationship management skills to build and maintain strong relationships with our followers and clients

• Manage and optimize our social media advertising campaigns, including targeting and budgeting

Qualifications

• Proven experience in social media marketing, preferably in the equine industry

• Confidence around horses and in the western performance horse industry

• Strong understanding of social media platforms

• Strong equine photography skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and other graphic design software

• Experience with relationship management and public relations

• Strong writing and communication skills

• Experience with SEO best practices

• Ability to stay current with the latest social media trends and best practices

• Knowledge of social media advertising and analytics tools
