The Arabian Horse Association (AHA) is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Creative Media Services Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. 


General Responsibilities:

The Creative Media Services Specialist is a key member of the Marketing & Media team, supporting all aspects of media, marketing, and National Events. This role contributes to the department’s overall objectives by managing a variety of creative projects and ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables. The position requires flexibility, strong organizational skills, and the ability to pivot between multiple projects while meeting concurrent deadlines.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute creative concepts for print, digital, and social media campaigns.

  • Design marketing materials, including brochures, advertisements, event signage, and digital assets.

  • Capture and edit high-quality photographs for use in marketing and promotional materials.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure brand consistency across all platforms.

  • Assist with creative support for National Events, including on-site photography and design needs.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.


Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Support video production and editing for marketing initiatives.

  • Maintain and organize digital asset libraries.

  • Provide input on creative strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement.

  • Assist with other marketing and media tasks as assigned.


Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).

  • One to three years of experience in a creative or marketing environment.

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom).

  • Strong photography skills, including camera operation, lighting, composition, and photo editing.

  • Solid understanding of design principles such as color theory, typography, and layout.

  • Knowledge of branding and marketing strategies to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with tools such as Canva, Constant Contact, Meta Business Suite, Hubspot, and major social media platforms.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for internal and external audiences.

  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly.

  • Strong customer service skills, including the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.


Core Competencies:

  • Software Expertise: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite for photo editing and design integration.

  • Photography Skills: Ability to capture and edit high-quality images using professional techniques.

  • Design Fundamentals: Strong grasp of color theory, typography, and layout for effective visual communication.

  • Branding & Marketing Knowledge: Understanding of how visuals support brand identity and marketing objectives.


Requirements:

  • Authorization to work in the U.S.

  • Authorization to travel internationally.

  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Can walk, stand, and sit for long periods.

  • Able to work on a computer for long periods.

  • Able and willing to travel up to 25% of the time, including some weekends.

  • Travel is required for all National Shows.

  • Able to work weekends and overtime when necessary.
