Who is Generation 6 Marketing?

Generation 6 Marketing is a full-service advertising agency working exclusively with companies in the agriculture industry, with a focus on serving beef seedstock producers. We offer a wide range of growing services to our clients, including strategy, brand and logo design, website development, digital marketing, and marketing campaigns utilizing print and digital mediums. Gen6 was built on a vision to provide exceptional visual design services paired with mindful marketing plans to move beef industry brands forward. We are invested in helping our clients build their legacies through cutting-edge design and marketing tactics.

Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is a self-starter, natural problem solver, and experienced in brand and print design. You have a sharp eye for detail, thrive on deadlines, and can produce high-quality work with quick turnaround times. Experience in digital design is a plus, but not required.

As a small but mighty design agency, we wear many hats — so flexibility, collaboration, and a can-do attitude are a must. If you’re passionate about design, eager to learn, and excited to make an impact, this is a great opportunity to grow with us.

We're specifically looking for a designer who can take the lead on producing 30+ seedstock sale catalogs per year, along with print advertising and assisting in brand identity projects. A strong emphasis will be placed on candidates who have experience in beef cattle seedstock marketing and design — bonus points if you speak the language of EPDs, pedigrees, and lot orders.

Position Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the creative director and design team on a variety of client projects

  • Design print and digital materials that align with client brand guides and project goals

  • Lead print design projects in InDesign, with supporting work in Illustrator and Photoshop

  • Produce final deliverables including sale catalogs, print ads, direct mailers, and publications

  • Design client collateral such as business cards, digital ads, social media templates, and farm signage

  • Create visually compelling work that balances brand consistency with current industry trends

  • Approach each project with a user-first mindset, keeping the target audience in focus

  • Maintain a sharp eye for detail, typography, color, and accuracy — including proofreading

  • Support internal brand design needs for Generation 6 Marketing

Qualifications

  • Availability to commit 10–20 hours per week, with the ability to meet quick turnaround times (typically 1–3 days)

  • Strong understanding of the beef industry, ideally with experience designing sale catalogs and advertising for seedstock producers

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite with a solid grasp of each tool’s best use — InDesign for print layout, Photoshop for photo editing, and Illustrator for logos and vector graphics

  • Passionate about design, with a drive to stay current on industry trends and continuously elevate your creative work
