There are several things to Learn in the world of Broadcasting. Your internship could include, but not be limited to experiences in:

  • Radio Broadcasting

  • Market Reporting

  • Interviews

  • Sales

  • News Reporting

  • Marketing/Promotions

  • Writing articles for the Web

  • Social Media Updating/writing

  • Posting Stories Online

  • Audio Editing


This will be a Paid Internship at roughly $15 hour for approximately 200 hours throughout the months of May/June/July/August (depending on your schedule/time) for a Total of $3,000


You will be able to do a lot of things remotely, but we will also want you to cover some industry events in person. (Mainly Oklahoma City/Stillwater/Norman Area) . You will need a reliable internet connection to allow you to upload stories to the website and social media accounts.


You will have the Option of Joining us at the National Association of Farm Broadcasters Convention in Kansas City as a Member of NAFB in November. There you will be able to network with other farm broadcasters and ag communication folks.


What we will provide:

  • Computer

  • Editing software (adobe audition, cool edit),

  • Microphone

  • All recording/editing equipment.

  • Knowledge on how to do Radio Markets/Farm News/Interviews
