Function:
To implement and coordinate an effective and innovative sponsorship/partnership recruitment program, successful sponsorship retention program, and manage other revenue generating programs for the Montana Stockgrowers Association.
Authority:
To plan, organize and implement all sponsorship recruitment, retention, and benefit programs for the Montana Stockgrowers Association with consideration of sales and revenue goals, budget, and direction from the Executive Vice President.
Reportability:
The Partnership Programs Manager reports to the Executive Vice President of the Montana Stockgrowers Association.
Responsibilities:
Sponsorship(35%)
Recruit new sponsors to meet sponsorship, partnership and revenue goals.
Support the association through the implementation, coordination, and execution of fundraising activities.
Develop and execute a comprehensive, multi-channel sponsorship solicitation strategy including direct mail, email, phone call and in-person meetings.
Coordinate with the Director of Marketing and Communications on fundraising communications strategies and executions.
Provide a high level of stewardship by thanking sponsors and ensuring all benefits for sponsorship are fulfilled, including sponsorship recaps and reporting.
Coordinate personal calls and in-person visits to current and prospective sponsors and partners.
Ensure all required sponsorship and partner processes and documentation is executed.
Develop work plans to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual recruitment goals set with the Executive Vice President.
Maintain the MSGA’s database with sponsor and partner information, contact/meeting recaps, and commitments.
Collaborate with MSGA staff to develop programs which will increase sponsorship and financial support while providing value to existing sponsors.
Collaborate with MSGA staff to develop and execute grant writing strategy.
Sales(25%)
Sell advertisements for Montana Stockgrowers publications.
Solicits and gathers business listings for the annual Cattle Directory publication and coordinates the sale of advertisements and priority pages
Serves as the staff lead for the Priority Page auction at Annual Convention
Maintains Priority Page buyer relations
Operations (35%)
Coordinate and manage other business relationships as directed by the Executive Vice President.
Manage vendor relationships and the trade show event at the MSGA Annual Convention.
Plan/coordinate special events when necessary.
Completes various administrative tasks related to job responsibilities.
Coordinate office supplies, business orders, and vendors.
Participate in all MSGA sponsored events.
Serve as the support staff to the Executive Vice President for administrative tasks related to job responsibilities.
Membership (5%)
Assist with recruiting new members to meet membership and revenue goals with a focus on allied members.
Assist in the retention of members to meet membership and revenue goals with a focus on allied members.
Coordinate with the Director of Marketing and Communications and Membership Representative on membership recruitment strategies, communications strategies and executions.
Ensure membership database is updated with membership records.
Other
Contribute the organization’s membership strategy, value proposition, and business metrics.
Contribute to the Montana Stockgrowers Association’s mission.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated sales and marketing experience with a clear understanding of the sales process.
Demonstrated capability to work independently, as a self-starter, in a positive and proactive fashion to support and identify steps for successful accomplishment of projects, activities, and sales goals.
Ability to inspire confidence, create trust, and reflect the values of the Montana Stockgrowers Association.
Clear and consistent verbal and written communications skills combined with effective interpersonal and organizational skills.
Experience and knowledge in working with a database management system is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, agriculture, a related field or equivalent work experience.
Ability to travel and maintain a flexible schedule.

Compensation:
Salary range is between $45,000 – $55,000, based on experience and job qualifications. A comprehensive benefits package is provided. This position qualifies for an annual bonus opportunity.
