The OSU Extension internship is a paid internship. Applicants must be a junior, senior or graduate student by May 2025 to apply and must be an OSU student. A GPA of 2.5 is to required to apply.
Length of the internship is 8-10 weeks, depending on county needs and intern's availability. Internships begin on or around May 27, 2025. Orientation and training will be held May 22, 2025 on campus and interns will be paid for training time. Pay for undergrad students is $14/hour and $16/hour for grad students. Additional travel and program supplies will be provided. Interns are assigned based on internship interests, counties who apply to host an intern and other factors evaluated during the application and interview process. Housing is not provided for interns.
Applications must be completed by October 25, 2024. Applicants will be notified the following week if they have been selected for an interview which will be conducted November 4-5, 2024 on campus.

Request a Letter of Recommendation from current/previous employer or academic advisor and have them email it to cheryl.newberry@okstate.edu by October 25.
