Description
The OSU Extension internship is an 8-10 week experience where students are immersed in a county Extension office with county staff to learn about all program areas, assist with planning and programming, and conduct a project of their own. This is a great way to dive in and see how program areas work together, how educators support and educate clientele, how volunteers are engaged in the program, and so much more.
Applications are now open through October 25th. Interviews will be held in mid-November, and we will try to finalize placement by December 23.
Please note that applicants will need to be classified as a junior, senior, or grad student by May 2027 to apply. GPA must be 2.5 or higher, and we welcome applications from OSU and Langston University. In the application, they will rank the counties that have applied to be a host site. The attached FAQ has details about the counties included to help with that ranking.
