Description
Marketing Interns at Helena Products Group (HPG) assist our marketing services team with a variety of marketing initiatives to support Helena brands, including communication activities, branding, video production, graphic design, event planning and market research. While working within the marketing services team, our interns gain an understanding of Helena's business and processes in the agriculture and professional sectors of our industry.
What Your Day Will Look Like
Works on assigned projects both independently and as a team member.
Researches online, social media platforms, print and other media for information for competitive content and trends that support brand launches.
Develops and supports the marketing team in the development of launching pesticides and fertilizer brands to the market.
Organizes complex projects such as website, social media and video shoots.
Assists in coordinating and marketing our annual sales meeting.
Completes weekly intern challenges to gain further insight about Helena and the industry.
Participates in weekly marketing services team meetings
Prepares and delivers a final project and presentation to HPG leadership.
Provides excellent customer service to all internal and external customers.
Other work-related duties as assigned by leader.
Reliable and regular attendance is required.
Follows all company policies and procedures.
Education & Experience
Must be currently pursuing an associate's or bachelor's degree, preferably in agriculture, agriculture communications, agribusiness, communications, marketing or business is required.
Skills & Qualifications
Computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office are required.
Working knowledge of OneDrive and Adobe Cloud is preferred.
Familiarity with basic video, photography and audio recording technology is preferred.
Ability to work on our website and social media.
Organizational skills.
Ability to read, write and speak in English is required.
Communicating in Spanish is a valuable skill at Helena.
Valid U.S. driver's license is required and must meet all company requirements to drive a Helena vehicle.
