Marketing & Sales Coordinator - Compass Livestock Solutions

This position is a dynamic opportunity for the person who is interested in all aspects of livestock marketing, auctions, and advertising.


Skills/Attributes:

  • Elite organization and coordination skills with a strong emphasis on attention to detail

  • Strong people and communication skills with the ability to not only work with fellow team members, but to also conduct face to face interactions with customers and prospects

  • Self-motivated and efficient time management skills

  • A service-minded approach to helping livestock breeders and enthusiasts accomplish their goals and dreams

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet

  • Must be tech savvy and comfortable with utilizing/adapting to new technologies and software programs

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and further skill development

  • Graphic design, content creation and social media management experience preferred

  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word and Powerpoint and also Google Pages and Sheets

  • Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite and Canva

  • Experience with overseeing Wordpress website updates- an added bonus

  • Oversee sale scheduling and team/customer communications

  • Work with accounting personnel for invoicing and record keeping


Travel:

The job will be 100% remote. Spring and Fall sale seasons will present the opportunity to travel to auctions and network with diverse livestock breeders of multiple species, while providing online bidding services via SaleRing.Live. Travel will represent approximately 15%-20% of work hours, with additional opportunities available for the right candidate. 


Salary:

Salary and hourly options are available- depending on the candidate. Work hours will range from 30-50 hours weekly. The heaviest workload will happen during the Fall and Spring sale season. Other busy times will vary.


Requirements to Apply:
