About the Program:
The House Legislative Internship Program provides undergraduate and graduate students with hands-on experience in legislative operations, policy development, political communications, and the inner workings of the Oklahoma House of Representatives. Interns work directly with members and staff of the House Democratic Caucus and receive meaningful training, mentorship, and exposure to the full legislative process. After completing this program interns will be able to locate, track, and analyze legislation, conduct policy research and synthesize complex information, communicate professionally in a legislative environment, navigate the Capitol, build professional connections, and understand the role of advocacy organizations in policymaking.
