Experiential Content Design Internship - OSU Career Services

Join the OSU Career Services team! We are seeking an Experiential Content Design Intern– applicants should be a currently enrolled continuing student and be willing to work for 9-10 weeks over the 2025 summer. Please note, applicants should be willing to work in Stillwater, OK on the OSU Campus in person, and begin work no later than the week of June 8, 2026 and be an enrolled student. The intern will work an average of 30-32 hours a week with a maximum of 32 hours weekly.


OSU Career Services Overview:

OSU Career Services offers comprehensive support to students, alumni and employers in their career development and recruitment needs. Located in the Student Union, Career Services provides students and alumni with a range of resources and services designed to help explore career options, develop job search materials and prepare for interviews. Likewise, Career Services offers employers tailored recruitment opportunities through events, sponsorships and job postings.  


Internship Summary:

The Experiential Content Design intern supports the creation of educational content that helps students connect experiential learning opportunities (e.g., internships, micro-credentials, high-impact practices) to skill development and career readiness. This internship offers hands-on experience in competency-based education, learning design and student development initiatives while contributing to tools and materials that directly support students’ professional growth. Through this position, the intern will collaborate with OSU Career Services team members and other subject matter experts to gather insights and enhance the effectiveness of training and professional development content for both students and OSU Career Services staff.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Develop and refine educational content that helps students identify, articulate and apply career‑ready competencies gained through experiential learning

  2. Support the creation of learning materials related to high impact experiences like internships, reflection activities, skill articulation and career preparation (e.g., guides, modules, worksheets, videos, toolkits)

  3. Align content with competency frameworks (e.g., career readiness competencies, transferable skills, learning outcomes)

  4. Collaborate with staff to ensure content is accessible and student-centered

  5. Contribute to digital learning environments such as learning management systems like Canvas, websites or credentialing platforms

  6. Assisting with video creation, editing and assignment development to support the professional development needs of students and OSU Career Services staff

 

Education:

Preferred majors and fields include education, human resources, business, communications, leadership and other related programs. Competitive applicants should have a career interest related to student development, content creation and/or curriculum design.


Experience:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite

  • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to craft clear and professional long form written educational content across various formats including print pieces, curriculum, presentations etc.

  • Knowledge of Canvas or previous TA experience preferred

  • Curriculum development and design experience preferred
