This position begins in January, for 10-15 hours a week, and continues through the Summer, 2025 at 20-40 hours per week. Potential for continuing employment based on performance.
Job Description:
Fast-paced event and continuing education office seeks student work study for assistance developing continuing education events, virtually and face-to-face. Students should have time slots of consecutive work availability of at least 3-4 hours during several days of the week. (example work schedule - 8-12 MWF, or 12-5 TR, or something similar). Work schedule may include occasional hours for events on evening & weekends.
This position will assist with creating marketing materials, building online courses, entering data for scheduling and registration platforms, creating and editing photos and videos, creating and editing articles, creating and editing social media, as well as the standard office tasks like filing, invoicing, mailing, emailing and shredding.
This position will help with virtual and face-to-face events, like 4-H Veterinary Day and & ExpOSUre at the State Fairs.
Must have a valid Driver's License. Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds. Must be trustworthy, responsible, and able to follow instructions (both verbal and written).
Strong customer service skills are a must. Student should be a team player and also have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Additionally, onsite face-to-face event registration assistance may be required.
Familiarity with the following resources preferred: Omni, Asana, Canvas, Office 365, Canva, Doodly, Moodle, Canvas Catalog, Eventbrite, Marketplace, Hootsuite, Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat, and Adobe Creative including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom and Premier.
