We’re looking for a Website Designer with strong digital strategy skills—someone who understands the art and function of web design while also knowing how to navigate platforms like WordPress, Showit, and Squarespace.
This role is primarily design-focused, but you need to know how to build and manage sites, update content, troubleshoot issues, and work directly with clients to ensure seamless execution.You will not be expected to handle complex development, but you must understand how sites function and work collaboratively with our white-label developer when needed.
This is a full-time role, and we need someone fully dedicated to Wildflower projects.
A 3-month trial period will be required to ensure it’s the right fit for both sides.
Key Responsibilities
Website Design & User Experience
Design beautiful, strategic, high-converting websites using Figma & Adobe Creative
Suite
Wireframe & prototype user-friendly, conversion-focused layouts
Ensure customer journey optimization (UX/UI principles)
Create brand-aligned visual elements (typography, colors, imagery, etc.)
Website Platform Management & Content Updates
Work in WordPress, Showit, Squarespace, and other platforms
Implement basic website changes & content updates (text, images, minor layouts)
Troubleshoot and resolve client issues, working directly with them as needed
Collaborate with our white-label developer for complex coding needs
Strategy & SEO Optimization
Understand website strategy and how to create a clear lead & sales pipeline
Optimize sites for SEO best practices, site speed, and mobile-friendliness
Set up, connect, and analyze Google Analytics, Search Console, and other tracking tools
Implement SEO-friendly content, meta tags, and keyword strategies
Client Communication & Problem Solving
Work directly with clients to handle site requests, feedback, and minor issues
Ensure all client projects stay on track and align with their goals
Provide strategic recommendations for website improvements
Occasionally assist in marketing-related projects (branding, social, or email design as
needed)
The Ideal Candidate
3+ years of experience in web design & strategy (agency or freelance experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of WordPress, Showit, Squarespace, and Figma
Basic website management & troubleshooting skills (not full-stack development)
SEO knowledge (keyword optimization, technical basics, best practices)
Graphic design expertise (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma)
Client-facing experience—must be comfortable handling client requests & problem-solving
Strong project management & self-sufficiency—you must be able to own your work
Bonus: Experience in Shopify, Webflow, or other e-commerce platforms is a plus
