OUR EXPECTATIONS ARE THAT YOU:

Shoot, edit, produce, and upload videos for marketing, training, meetings and promotional needs
Shoot, edit, produce, and upload videos to accompany print or online articles
Supervise outside videographers and production companies to complete contract projects
Produce editorial news and features for Today’s Farmer and other media, print and online
Write, plan, and edit articles and marketing materials for multiple uses, print and online
Shoot editorial, advertising, promotional, studio, portrait and other images for multiple uses
Work with the creative content manager to plan the magazine’s editorial calendar
Collaborate with the art director to select images appropriate for publication
Catalog still and video images for corporate archive
Provide creative input for marketing, advertising, online and social media projects
Support and provide photo and video needs for meetings and other special projects

YOU ARE RIGHT FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU:

Proficiency in digital photography/videography, including lighting, sound & editing
Experience in reporting and writing news and feature articles using AP style
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office products
Background, experience, or interest in agriculture
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects
Ability to create and maintain professional working relationships
Good time management and organizational skills
Good interpersonal skills
Good leadership skills and self-motivation
Ability to handle photo/video equipment in agricultural settings
Understanding of web and print image and resolution needs
Ability to uphold the company's mission, vision, and values
Desire to succeed in your career and ability to represent the company's culture
Ability to travel within MFA trade territory, including occasional overnight stays

HIGHLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL BRING:

B.S degree in journalism or related communications field
Three years experience in photojournalism, videography, or freelance assignment photography
