Agronomy Marketing Intern - The Andersons Inc.

Position Overview

This position will provide hands-on experience while working closely with our in-house marketing team to support their daily tasks and various projects. The ideal candidate will have an interest in agriculture and be comfortable embracing a wide spectrum of marketing activities from crafting engaging social media content to dabbling in graphic design and diving into the world of Google Ads.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a basic understanding of the assigned groups processes procedures and systems

  • Collaborate with marketing and other professionals to support brand awareness and marketing efforts

  • Assist with existing projects to reach the target audience through appropriate channels video web collateral social media email webinars etc.

  • Support content creation and conduct analysis as appropriate


What is expected of you and others at this level

  • Minimal job-related experience

  • Acquires basic skills to perform routine tasks

  • Work is prescribed and completed with little autonomy

  • Works with either close supervision or under clearly defined procedures


Minimum Qualifications & Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture Business Communication Marketing Advertising Visual Communication Technology or other related majors

  • Sophomore junior or senior standing required

  • Excellent written communication and organizational skills

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite preferred

  • Video editing skills preferred

  • 0-2 years relevant experience required
