About the Internship:

Play a key role in telling the story of American Gelbvieh Junior Association Junior Classic. This internship offers hands-on experience capturing powerful moments in and out of the show ring while creating highlight videos, social media content, and visual stories seen by thousands. The intern will work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, gaining real-world experience in event coverage, video production, and digital media. This is a unique opportunity to build your portfolio, grow your skills, and help showcase the passion, dedication, and tradition of the livestock industry.


Responsibilities:

  • Capture high-quality photo and video content including competition, behind-the-scenes moments, and exhibitor stories.

  • Produce and edit highlight and promotional videos that showcase the event and its impact

  • Create engaging social media content and design features for AGJA digital platforms.

  • Develop and execute daily shoot lists and timelines to ensure organized, strategic content creation.

  • Organize, manage, and deliver digital media assets efficiently while meeting deadlines and brand standards.

  • Perform general tasks as needed to support the success of the event.

  • Attend a pre-event Zoom meeting.


Qualifications:

  • College student that’s not exhibiting or competing at the 2026 AGJA Junior Classic

  • Experience working with cattle or livestock is preferred but not required.

  • Experience with photography, videography, graphic design, and social media.

  • Ability to capture compelling visual content in a fast-paced, live event environment.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage digital media files and deadlines.

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and with a team.

  • Personal photography and video equipment are preferred but not required.
