WRCA Internship - 2025 WRCA World Championship Ranch Rodeo

Summary

The WRCA internship will offer the opportunity to see all aspects of event planning and management. Qualified candidates will be challenged to assist WRCA staff in the organization's daily activities during the event. This intern position will be located at the Amarillo Civic Center for the WRCA 30th World Championship Ranch Rodeo in Amarillo, Texas.


Responsibilities To Include (but may not be limited to):

  • Assist in the WRCA Office and overall event management

  • Assist with the distribution of ranch contestant apparel items

  • Coordinate signage placement throughout the facility

  • Take photos and file photos of sponsor deliverables (i.e. signage)

  • Help distribute Team/Vendor/Sponsor/Personnel Packets

  • Assist with the WRCA Kickoff Party/Calcutta

  • Assist with WRCA's presence on Facebook and Instagram

  • Assist with set up and in-store sales at the Cowhand Supply House

  • Assist in the Association/Foundation Booth

    • Sell and Enter Raffle Tickets, Memberships, and Foundation Donations

    • Obtain and enter constituent information in the WRCA database

  • Enter and coordinate items in OneCause for WRCA Foundation Auctions

  • Assist with trade show vendors

  • Assist in the arena/stalls/loading areas
