Responsibilities

Marketing/Videography Focus:

  • Collaborate with graphic designers and communications staff to align video messaging with OSU branding

  • Assist in organizing a digital archive of event footage and photography for future outreach and grant reporting

Cross-Program Support:

  • Provide media support for related Honors College outreach events (e.g., summer programs, educator workshops)

  • Assist in brainstorming creative marketing campaigns tailored to K–12 students, families, and educators

  • Support logistics, setup, and documentation at 2–3 major in-person STEM competitions

Qualifications:

  • Upper-level undergraduate or graduate student in media, communications, marketing, education, or a related field

  • Strong storytelling, visual composition, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Experience with social media content creation (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)

  • Interest in STEM education and enthusiasm for working with youth and educators

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

  • Availability to travel to local competition sites (transportation provided for official events)
