We are seeking a passionate and experienced Social Media Curator to join our team and help us engage with our agricultural clients' target markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the agriculture industry, excellent communication skills, and a creative approach to social media content.

Stillwell+Co is a marketing and business strategy consultancy focused on delivering efficient and timely ROl-driven results for small business clients from start-ups to legacy companies. We serve clients in a variety of industries across the Midwest, with a special focus on customized solutions within the areas of marketing, strategy, and operations.


Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Develop and execute engaging social media & written content that aligns with client brand and target audience. This includes writing captivating captions, creating visuals, and curating relevant third-party content. It may also include writing keyword-rich blogs to support the overall strategy.

    • Knowledge in livestock and production agriculture is required. This role will be focused on ag clients first and foremost.

  • Platform Optimization: Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Optimize client proposed social media strategies and tactics to increase reach, engagement, and conversions.

  • Stay Up-to-Date: Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in social media marketing.

  • Collaborate with Project Lead & Other Social Curators: This contractor will be working as a part of a team, and will be required to meet milestones, report on progress, and maintain ample communication regarding client requests and needs.

    • Occasionally, this contractor will be asked to speak directly to the client and maintain professionalism in doing so.

  • Must be Self-Motivated and Highly Accountable: The ideal individual is organized, focused, and takes initiative. This individual will be self-motivated and deliver on time or early results. In addition, this individual will self-manage tasks and ensure completion.


The ideal candidate possesses the following skills & experience:

  • A minimum of one to two years working on client social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn

  • Familiarity with social media scheduling software Social Pilot or similar tool

  • Ability to navigate Google Workspace and shared / collaborative tools
