Overview

KRose Company is now looking for a Photo and Video Content Specialist to relocate to Kalispell, Montana. This is a full time position. This position is responsible for gathering interviews, perspectives and imagery through video and photos, both in-studio and in the field, and conducting production work that includes editing, sound mixing, graphics and other creative needs across multiple media platforms. Types of content that would be gathered would be ranch activities, farm to table events, forestry and fire, and garden and lawn care. Preference will be given to those with photography/videography experience and expertise. The ideal start date for this position would be Monday, May 12th.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Capture video/photo content for KRose Company, Cattleman U, Forest Management Specialists and more.

  • Create content to use on multiple social media platforms using photo and video captured.

  • Capture video/photo content during work day activities, events and stylized shoots.

  • Create a catalog of b-roll to use across multiple social media platforms.

  • Produce special projects.

  • Conduct general videography and photography as needed.

  • Travel as needed to assist at events, location shoots and more.


Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, including written and interpersonal skills, including phone presence.

  • Excellent interview and storytelling skills.

  • Ability to organize, prioritize and execute multiple activities simultaneously.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting regular deadlines.

  • Must be comfortable with applicable computer software and other technology, specifically, Adobe creative products such as Premiere Pro and After Effects. Experience in Adobe Audition and Photoshop is helpful but not mandatory.

  • Excellent photography and videography skills.

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

  • Must be reliable and dependable. 

  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn is a must.


Education/Experience:

  • Applicable degrees in agricultural communications, journalism, broadcast media, convergent media and other applicable fields, or equivalent work experience.

  • Must have practical experience in a media environment through education, internships or employment.

  • An agricultural background or animal science focus is a plus, but is not required
