Overview
The Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Association (OVMA) is offering an internship opportunity for the Oklahoma Veterinary Conference. This event is held each year and draws over 700 veterinarians, practice managers, technicians, and veterinary students for CE opportunities, networking, awards, and exhibit hall. The 2024 Oklahoma Veterinary Conference will be held on January 25-27, 2024 at the Embassy Suites in Norman, OK.
Duration 3 days – selected interns will be required at the event Thursday – Saturday
Internship Requirements (i.e. courses taken, previous experience)
To be selected candidates must:
Be willing to assist with all functions of the event including early mornings and lengthy days
Must be willing to work closely with OVMA staff, leaders, and members as well as exhibitors and sponsors
Must demonstrate interest in the veterinary industry and have to ability to work collaboratively
Must be creative, energetic, patient, and reliable Compensation Lodging, mileage, and a daily per diem will be provided.
Will assist with college credit. Materials to include with application Resume and the completed questionnaire below.
