The OSU Extension Summer internship is an 8-10 week paid internship available to college juniors and seniors and graduate students. College junior, senior or graduate student refers to the intern's school classification for the fall semester following the internship. Interns will learn the duties and functions of a County Extension Educator and will be given one or more special projects to develop and administer.
Applicant Information
Students must be a junior, senior or grad student by the end of the Spring 2026 semester to apply.
GPA minimum is 2.5
Competitive salary – 40 hours per week for 8-10 weeks
Funds to support travel and program supplies
Housing not provided but counties may be able to suggest options
Internship credit hours may be earned but are the responsibility of the student to work that out with their advisor
There are 3 sites where dietetic interns could be placed and 12 sites for all other majors. Applicants will rank the counties who have applied to serve as an intern host site in the application.
