Marketing Director - Cattlemens Bank

Description

Marketing Director will oversee, coordinate and participate in the strategies and promotion of Cattlemens Bank. The Marketing Director plays a key role in brand management, customer acquisition, and revenue growth, making it a critical position in the overall success of the organization. The Marketing Director will be a direct representative for bank activities, community involvement, all awhile adhering to the core values, vision and mission of Cattlemens Bank.

 

Duties/Responsibilities

Strategy Development

  • Develop, execute and implement the bank’s advertising and promotional activities

  • Plan and implement marketing campaigns across multiple channels including digital, social media and print

  • Analyze target market information for Oklahoma and Texas and recommend effective marketing approaches

  • Collaborate with internal departments to align marketing efforts with overall objectives

  • Identify new marketing strategies that will benefit Cattlemens Bank branches across Oklahoma and Texas

  • Maintain knowledge on emerging products, services and latest trends

  • Forecast, implement and oversee the operating budget across all branches


Brand Management

  • Build relationships with community organizations, community leaders and public outreach programs

  • Serve as an ambassador and spokesperson in the community through public relations, sponsorships and events

  • Manage branding for new products and services offered through core banking system

  • Maintain cattlemensbank.com through wordpress content management system

  • Collaborate with branch managers to produce high-quality sharable content (images, videos, etc.)

  • Ensure all marketing materials and communications comply with relevant banking regulations and laws


Event Management

  • Lead, co-plan and attend various community events in Oklahoma, and at our Fort Worth and Dallas, Texas branches. (2-3 per year)

  • Work closely with vendors, venues and internal teams

  • Preforms other related duties as assigned or requested by management

  • Only minimum duties are listed


Required Skills/Abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Thorough understanding of marketing strategies and practices

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Creative and innovative approach to marketing

  • Proactive approach to problem solving, decision-making and ability to navigate challenges

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite, Canva or related software

  • Flexibility in working hours based on project deadlines and event schedules

  • Occasional travel required


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.

  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful marketing strategies, particularly in a local or community-focused environment.

  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities, with a results-driven mindset

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently

  • Previous work experience in marketing or communications, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
