Job Title: Digital Communications Specialist
The American Hereford Association (AHA) located in Kansas City, Mo., is seeking a full-time Digital Communications Specialist to tell the story of the Hereford breed through digital media. This person will work with the communications team to travel to various locations across the country to create and distribute content for the AHA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Evaluate digital metrics and analytics to identify and recommend visual storytelling solutions for the American Hereford Association.
Strategize, plan, and execute studio and field-based video and photo productions, championing the creative process from conception to delivery.
Create, manage and analyze digital content across platforms to engage and promote the Hereford breed.
Assist with developing, designing and posting content on social media.
Strong knowledge of the video production process, including pre-production audio and video recording, lighting, editing, and content delivery.
Other duties may be assigned.
Education and/or Experience
Associates Degree required.
Minimum 3 years of previous experience with digital photography, videography and automation, and/or job training; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Proficient in graphic design using the Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience and skill in video editing using Adobe Premiere software.

Ability to produce accurate, professional and error-free documents in a timely manner.
Demonstration of good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
