Position Profile: Montana Silversmiths, the industry leader in western buckles and jewelry, is seeking a Creative Marketing Manager for their Columbus, MT location. This pivotal role reports directly to the VP of Marketing and collaborates extensively with the larger team.
Responsibilities:
The Creative Marketing Manager will oversee three direct reports: the Product Marketing Manager, Senior Designer, and Multimedia Producer. Their primary responsibilities include:
Overseeing quarterly catalogs and all print materials
Managing retailer support materials and point-of-sale assets
Ensuring consistent brand presentation across product, model, and lifestyle imagery
Spearheading photoshoot execution and planning with the creative team
Playing a key role in campaign planning and go-to-market initiatives
Supporting industry events with timely, on-brand collateral
Driving brand partnerships and collaborations
The ideal candidate will implement efficient creative processes and project management platforms. They will support both B2B and B2C deliverables, including email and digital collateral. The ability to delegate effectively and prioritize tasks is crucial in this fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Mass Media or related field
Equivalent of 5+ years progressive experience in sales/marketing/business related field,
Marketing experience to include Website, Social Media, Email Marketing, and Digital Advertising knowledge, Product / Brand Management, Omni-channel Marketing, Communications, Advertisement Materials, Catalog and Print Asset Development
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc) and photography techniques, PM tool experience, Basic ERP Knowledge
Team oriented, self-motivated, proactive, goal oriented, problem solver
Ability to manage and complete multiple projects within tight deadlines, within budget and with limited internal staff
Exceptional communication skills; interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Additional job responsibilities include:
Supporting co-op advertising efforts
Directing product packaging and creating unique, engaging experiences
Developing and maintaining a comprehensive brand book
Coordinating lifestyle shoots and content
Recognizing opportunities and defending creative direction
Managing various vendors, photographers, and videographers
Organizing and optimizing the company's Digital Asset Management (DAM) system
Providing strategic direction for social media content
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with experience leading teams in a dynamic environment. They must be able to recognize high-impact projects, manage time effectively, and understand ROI. This role requires a creative thinker who can balance innovation with brand consistency and drive Montana Silversmiths' visual identity forward.
Some travel required
This employee will be required to work in our beautiful corporate offices on the Yellowstone River in Columbus, MT.
