Creative Content Specialist - KRose Company

Kalispell, MT • Full-Time

KRose Company/Cattleman U  is now accepting applications for a Creative Content Specialist position in its Townsend or  Kalispell MT office. This position is responsible for gathering interviews, perspectives and imagery through video and photography, both in-studio and in the field, and conducting production work that includes editing, sound mixing, graphics and other creative needs across multiple media platforms.


  • Work in conjunction with the marketing team to produce creative content to pair with print, audio and digital storytelling.

  • Produce video ads for web, e-newsletter and social media use.

  • Contribute photography for print publications, marketing materials, and websites.

  • Design digital banner ads for web and e-newsletter use.

  • Assist with coordination and content development for beef industry event coverage.

  • Work with KRose Company and Cattleman U staff to develop and implement strategies for increased subscriber base, social followers, web traffic, and unique advertising opportunities.

  • Work with all of the Marketing  departments to develop internal & external branding & promotional efforts.

  • Work with customers and Regional Managers to assist in ad messaging, branding and direction for client marketing and communications efforts in print, digital and social media.

  • Produce special projects.

  • Travel as needed to assist at events, location shoots and industry meetings.

  • Be the main photographer and videographer for She’s a hand Ranch Camp 

  • Performs other related duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent communication skills, including written and interpersonal skills, including phone presence.

  • Excellent interview and storytelling skills.

  • Ability to organize, prioritize and execute multiple activities simultaneously.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting regular deadlines.

  • Must be comfortable with applicable computer software and other technology, specifically, Adobe creative products such as Premiere Pro and After Effects. Experience in Adobe Audition and Photoshop is helpful but not mandatory.

  • Excellent photography and videography skills.

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

  • Must be reliable and dependable.

  • 25-35% travel is expected for this position, potentially over weekends.

  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn is a must. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Applicable degrees in agricultural communications, journalism, broadcast media, convergent media and other applicable fields, or equivalent work experience.

  • Must have practical experience in a media environment through education, internships or employment.
