Audience Engagement Manager - Farm Journal

Farm Journal is looking for an Audience Engagement Manager to drive channel engagement campaigns and member acquisitions using segmentation, personalization and triggered communications across key audiences. The ideal candidate will develop cross-channel campaigns and create audience growth strategies supported by Farm Journal’s Owned and Operated channels.


The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of engagement marketing experience leading efforts within a service provider like HubSpot, and utilizing audience data from a customer data platform to tailor messages and content. A strong understanding of audience metrics and engagement tactics across multiple systems.


You will need to prioritize effectively in a fast-moving and ever-changing environment, communicating clearly and persuasively. You will quickly develop data-driven plans and execute across many channels simultaneously. This is a visible position that will interact at all levels of the company. We are looking for a relentless, customer-obsessed, and business-minded marketer with a penchant for invention, connecting with customers and delivering results, all while being up-to-date on engagement tactics, reporting including GA4, and the ability to regularly and comfortably present data to management.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

These duties include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Manage our HubSpot instance as major tool for engagement and lifecycle management

  • Benchmark trends and audience preferences to develop tactics that increase engagement

  • Design and implement touchpoint strategy to align with business goals

  • Set specific objectives and report on KPI’s

  • Generate and share engaging content via onsite tools that lead to user actions like registration and newsletter sign up for first party data collection

  • Monitor engagement levels known users including new known users

  • Collaborate with other teams, like marketing and sales to ensure brand consistency

  • Suggest and implement new features to increase engagement

  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in B2B marketing and audience development
