Young Farmers & Ranchers Project Coordinator – American Farm Bureau Federation

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Provide administrative and project support to implement and coordinate projects and activities of Young Farmers & Ranchers (YF&R) and the Leadership, Education & Engagement Department.


  • Coordinate the logistics of YF&R activities, including materials preparation and maintenance of records and files relating to conferences, meetings and materials.

  • Coordinate the logistics related to the AFBF YF&R Committee, including drafting and distributing communications, maintaining records and files and recommending improvements to processes when needed.

  • Manage the logistics of all online meetings including scheduling and registration in addition to managing chats, breakout rooms, polls, etc. during online events.

  • Assume primary responsibility as the lead contact for competitive event questions, build/maintain and oversee the online platform for competitors and judges and effectively process all applications.

  • Collaborate with Director of Member Engagement on event logistics, recommend event content and provide on-site support for YF&R events, including AFBF annual convention, YF&R leadership conference and FUSION.
