Ohio Farm Bureau is searching for a Social Media Specialist who will be responsible for creating and administering content on all social media platforms to build an audience and ensure member engagement. The Specialist will also monitor social media trends, site metrics and respond to comments. Must understand the targeted audience and special tactics for each platform. Will assist in devising strategy, community management and creative direction. Must have a sincere interest in agriculture and some familiarity with a membership organization. A bachelor’s degree in a related field or some combination of education and experience will be considered.
Daily execution of Ohio Farm Bureau social media content. Primary platforms include Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and Twitter.
Monitor digital/social media content that mentions Ohio Farm Bureau and key issues.
Spend approximately 1 day per week in the field visiting with member farms/businesses to create content that communicates membership value and engagement.
Track and maintain stats for performance and reporting needs.
Use Google Analytics and UTMs to monitor performance, trends and conversions.
Use Facebook Business manager to execute paid campaigns.
