The Public Relations Coordinator will support the Public Relations team with messaging for communications programs and written communications, including electronic and print, company publications, media and press releases, customer communications and public speaking opportunities. Strong understanding of B2B communication is preferred.
Research and identify resource materials to support content distribution to national, local and trade media to achieve visibility for client work
Monitor key media outlets, media trends and news cycles
Monitor industry-related publications to distribute relevant industry information to clients and internal teams
Provide media analysis and reporting on client public relation programs
Assist, curate and coordinate the development of public relation materials, including press releases, talking points, long-form articles, blog posts, etc.
Work with integrated teams to assist with copywriting, proofreading and copy editing as needed
Coordinate with reporters and editors at client-related trade publications
Build and maintain media distribution lists for a variety of clients using a PR platform.
Assist with the execution of public relations plans for clients that support their business goals and strategic mission
Support the implementation of PR programs to achieve an increase in client’s brand awareness
Other work as directed
