Qualifications For Director of Public Relations

  • Strong storytelling skills to support the creative process; possess a solid sense of branding and aesthetics.

  • Master communicator, including writing and public speaking.

  • Attention to detail, proficiency in Time Management and knowledge of Design & Project Management, Organizational Skills, and Budgeting.

  • Provides project management for organization-wide projects/initiatives as required, facilitating team efforts and helping to define project goals, timelines, resource requirements, and planning to cope with conflict or stressor points in the plans.

  • Team management skills

  • Creativity

  • Expertise of social media platforms and PowerPoint

  • Demonstrate the ability to lead creative and technical teams with a spirit of collaboration.

  • A minimum of five years of experience in leading public relations is required.

  • Bachelor's degree in communications or marketing required.

  • Experience in social media, video, and photography knowledge is preferred.

  • Successful candidates must complete a pre-employment drug screening and background check. Must be able to work in varying climate and weather conditions (rain, snow, hot, or cold)
