Summary of Position: The Operations and Membership Director (OMD) is responsible for all systems and processes that CCA staff and the organization rely upon daily. Furthermore, the position is the lead on maintaining association/membership records and implementing membership retention and recruitment processes for CCA. The position ensures that the association meets deadlines for operational deliverables with a high degree of reliability and integrity.

Major Duties and Responsibilities Membership Retention and Engagement ● Responsible for day-to-day activities related to membership recruitment and retention such as renewals, mailings, calls, recruiters, affiliates, etc. ● Maintain and update membership database and data. ● The OMD and Industry Advancement Director (IAD) will work together to develop an annual tactical plan for membership recruitment and retention. The IAD will lead field-based operations while the OMD will lead all office-based operations. ● The OMD and IAD will work together to ongoingly evaluate recruitment and retention metrics and make necessary adjustments to the tactical membership plan. ● All aspects of onboarding new members and renewing members, including correspondence, outlining member service centers. ● Work with local affiliates on completion of their annual affiliation agreement and affiliate officer updates and requests. ● Develop, implement and maintain membership affinity programs

Organizational Operations ● Coordinates with Junior Colorado Cattlemen Association’s advisors to assist with their annual convention agendas, and to engage youth in JCCA and CCA programs. ● Primarily responsible for answering and directing incoming calls. ● Maintains CCA By-Laws, policies, resolutions, and other association documents/records/mailings. ● Facilitates coordination such as room scheduling, events, etc as directed by the EVP. ● Oversees ordering/engraving of awards and recognition items ● Coordinates with Foundation Accountant on JCCA Scholarship awards, including notification of awardees, and approval and issuance of scholarship checks. ● Maintains building acquisition donor database, acknowledgments, room naming rights, and tax receipts. Works with EVP on donor solicitation documents, physical acknowledgment, eventual office relocation, asset acquisition, etc. ● Receive and distribute all office mail. ● Maintain all office equipment outside of computers. ● Coordinates ordering of office supplies and materials. ● Manages association insurance programs, staff-level assistance, and direct correspondence with providers. ● Coordinates and oversees other intra-office duties as determined by EVP.
