The student intern will work as a member of the Agricultural Communications Services team providing communications and marketing support for New Frontiers and strategic communications.
The internship will provide a broad range of experience including layout and design, digital communications, writing, videography and photography for New Frontiers and special projects for the vice president and dean’s office of OSU Agriculture.
The student intern will help coordinate New Frontiers projects to increase knowledge and promote student engagement.
The student intern will assist with activities related to New Frontiers and special projects, such as construction site tours; donor, alumni, faculty, staff and student events; OSU Agriculture Honors; etc.
The student intern will assist with the development of digital and printed marketing materials to promote New Frontiers and develop engaging content for social media accounts and electronic newsletters, maintain and update website content, and provide video and photography support for New Frontiers events when needed.
The internship is 10-20 hours per week and will be paid. The internship will begin in Summer 2023.
Intern applicants must be students in the Ferguson College of Agriculture pursuing a major or option in agricultural communications. Applicants will need to have taken at least introductory design courses.
Intern experience and knowledge requirements include:
· Adobe Creative Suite.
· Word, Excel and Outlook.
· Writing press releases and feature articles.
· Creating digital content, including social media, web and electronic newsletters.
