BASIC FUNCTION:


The focus of the Media Producer is to execute on the American AgCredit content vision and build traffic and audience engagement. This individual will create video, photography and other multimedia content to execute a strategic vision for the American AgCredit brand. The position will communicate and collaborate with Brand and other internal and external partners to guide projects from concept to final delivery.


This position will play a key role in developing multimedia content that inspires and educates various internal and external audiences and positions American AgCredit to fulfill its mission of being a leading lender to agriculture and a strategic partner to our customers.


The ideal candidate will be well-versed in a variety of production styles (e.g., documentary, narrative, live event) as well as adapting content gathered for delivery across multiple platforms.


Applicants are asked to provide samples of previous multimedia production work.


This is a 100% remote position, with frequent travel involved.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Produce the AAC voice & vision through video, photo and multimedia production across various channels.

  • Shoot and edit video as part of an ongoing goal to raise awareness of and support for agriculture.

  • In partnership with the Brand Team, build and evolve a content strategy that meets the needs of internal and external stakeholders.

  • Establish a strong point of view on topics essential to the execution of AAC’s mission in support of American agriculture.

  • Build an audience, drive growth and engagement through a culturally relevant unique brand perspective.

  • Maintain and execute on a defined content calendar.

  • Serve as a champion for Storytelling within AAC and collaborate cross-functionally with other departments.

  • Provide video and audio technical support and capture story highlights for AAC events and executive meetings.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


LEVELS OF SUPERVISION EXERCISED AND RECEIVED:

Individual Contributor; working across the entire Association with varying levels of individuals and or roles.


TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years of multimedia production experience

  • Expert knowledge and experience using camera, lighting, and audio equipment

  • Well-versed in still photography, including OCF lighting

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, notably Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition

  • Able to work in various video styles (narrative, documentary, live event, etc.)

  • Demonstrated success in producing culturally relevant content for diverse communities

  • Comfortable in a variety of environments, from the boardroom to the pasture.

  • A passion for powerful, creative storytelling

  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills

  • Experience with all web/social content channels

  • Consistently meet client needs

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

  • Advanced Microsoft office skills including Word, Excel, Adobe, Office, PowerPoint, and Outlook


ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to see including color, depth perception and clarity, engage in repetitive motions, and communicate. Must have the ability to perform basic office tasks and work in a typical office setting. Employee will be sitting for extended periods of time and accomplishing work at a desk and work at a computer for an extended period. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills to adequately convey ideas and work well with a team. Ability to talk and hear, sit, and use their hands and fingers, and reach in all directions is essential in performance of the job. Must be able to lift equipment up to 50 lbs. to transport to various sites. Work during established business hours and may require occasional weekend and/or evening work. Travel required up to 50%.


FULL-TIME REMOTE:

These roles and job functions can be done remotely, while maintaining our strong commitment to customer service and our business goals. Employees are welcome to come to an office to work if needed, and some travel for team meetings will be required.
