The Department of Agricultural Education and Agricultural Sciences is pleased to announce multiple Masters and/or Ph.D. level assistantships for qualified graduate candidates who have an interest in teaching Agricultural Education, Agricultural Leadership, and Agricultural Sciences. Qualified candidates will receive assistantship funding to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in Agricultural Education, Leadership, and Agricultural Sciences.


Assistantships are 9-month, .49 FTE positions with the opportunity for summer teaching employment. Salary and benefits are competitive and funded assistantships include full tuition waivers. This position combines rigorous masters or doctoral education programs with instruction and advising duties. Successful candidates for funded assistantships must meet the admission requirements for admittance into the College of Education Agricultural Education option. In addition, candidates must be able to work independently and in teams, and be willing to collaborate in multi-disciplinary projects. Preferred applicants will have excellent teaching skills and outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
