SmartCOP, Inc. is a public safety software business engaged in system development, implementation, and support services for a fully integrated suite of products including Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), Records Management System (RMS), Mobile Computing with Field Based Reporting, and Jail Management System (JMS) for first responders in the law, fire, and EMS markets. We are seeking a Marketing Manager to join our Sales & Marketing team!


The Marketing Manager is responsible for establishing & implementing strategic and tactical communications plans designed to capitalize on market opportunities to generate demand, brand awareness, a steady flow of sales leads, while measuring the return on marketing program investments. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, resourceful, and have impeccable communication & leadership skills. What your impact will be: Organizing and effectively coordinating company programs, including but not limited to: content marketing, social media, trade shows, conferences and events, webinars, website content, email marketing and other lead generation activities. Collaborating with internal resources and customer advocates to identify content opportunities. Developing, managing and executing strategies for brand awareness, positioning, differentiation, and expansion. Managing and updating website content, sales materials, collateral, print ads, and other marketing communications. Building and supporting a customer advocacy program, including managing and coordinating customer testimonials and case studies. Leading PR program including press releases, case studies, and external trade shows. Maintaining knowledge of marketing trends, developments, and best practices. Manage the proposal writing process to include content design, development, and review.


What we are looking for: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment required. Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills; demonstrated ability to write articles, blog posts, proposals, video scripts and/or compelling marketing copy. Knowledge and experience with digital marketing, marketing automation and campaign management and tracking tools. Must be well organized, self-starter with the ability to manage build/develop/execute best practices as well as new ideas to help drive long term/sustainable revenue growth for all SmartCOP solutions. Proven track record of supporting the creation and execution of successful marketing campaigns Excellent verbal, presentation and written communications skills Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, PR or Communications. Minimum of four years of related marketing and communications experience required. Ability to travel as necessary to support the needs of the business.
