The Marketing Director will be responsible for planning, creating and executing the development and implementation of consumer and channel marketing campaigns. This individual must be fluent in marketing and social media tactics. Also, a robust attention to detail and the ability to analyze and interpret data to derive insight on the current trends. The right person for this role is highly energized by working in a fast-paced environment and can work closely with others to develop a demand for pork and improve the farmer image. To be successful they must be able to handle multiple projects with changing priorities and with minimal oversite and exhibit the professionalism associated with the Ohio Pork Council.
This individual will work directly with the Demand Enhancement Committee to develop promotions and a budget for the committee’s goals for the fiscal year. They will also oversee the committee's budget and most of the programs within that budget.
