The Position

The Marketing Coordinator should be a tech-savvy professional who’s knowledgeable and passionate about the equine industry, omnichannel marketing, and analytics. This position must be done in the office; however, a hybrid position would be considered if you live within 1.5 hours of Yoakum, Texas.


Social/Digital

  • Write, develop, and strategize online content production and scheduling

  • Develop assets for all brands using Canva or Photoshop to support social media, website education initiatives, and the dealer network

  • Execute the social media calendar across all relevant platforms

  • Create and monitor advertising and lead generation

  • Create and manage contests

  • Provide help and responses to rider comments on all platforms

  • Analyze data to study consumer behavior and content performance

  • Stay up to date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends

  • Identify opportunities

  • Manage content creators – review content, ensure deliverables by deadline, post and distribute

Email Marketing

  • Write engaging copy and create consumer email marketing campaigns based on the specified content calendar and objectives

  • Dotdigital platform

Website Blog and Content Pages

  • Create pages using the Magento platform while implementing SEO tactics

Endorsees and Brand Ambassador Communications

  • Field communication with endorsees and brand ambassadors to meet content calendar objectives

Photoshoot Support

  • Place product orders, assist in tack preparation and tack return from shoots

Donation and Sponsorship Requests

  • Field initial email requests

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent related experience

Requirements

  • 2+ years of marketing-related experience with emphasis on writing, social media, and email marketing strategy

  • Portfolio with a range of work examples – writing, social media, email, graphic design

  • Above-average knowledge of social media platforms, advertising, SEO, and Google Analytics

  • Copywriting and knowledge of AP Style preferred

  • Layout and graphic design principles

  • Experience with Canva, Photoshop, Sprout Social, InDesign

  • Equine experience in western disciplines

  • Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal

Schedule

  • 40 hours per week

  • Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm

  • In office; hybrid may be considered if candidate lives within 1.5 hours of Yoakum, Texas
