Grow what's next. Grow your future. Corteva Agriscience is seeking an Integrated Field Sciences Intern to participate in a 3-month internship! Corteva sponsors a variety of internships in agricultural research across many field research centers in North America. These research centers house trait development, crop protection and plant breeding research activities. Sharing resources across research groups facilitates more efficient integrated product development. As an Integrated Field Science Intern at a research center you will have the opportunity to obtain diverse experiences across these functions responsible for integrated product development.


Position duration is May to August 2021.


Responsibilities:


  • You will work as part of a team in field plot management, and precision phenotyping tasks associated with trait development, crop protection, digital ag and plant breeding projects.

  • You may also assist other IFS Field Scientists located in the geographic region, but not stationed at the research center.

  • You will also manage your own research project with the expectation of a verbal report to the larger intern group at Corteva Agriscience facilities in Johnston, IA.

  • Intern positions provide excellent experience that can be applied to full time positions in the industry, or in preparation for additional graduate level training in the plant sciences.
